This large room is comfortably furnished with two leather sofas and our signature Harris Tweed armchair. We then added plenty of cushions so you can settle in for the night. The multi-fuel stove adds that essential touch for cooler nights. An initial supply of logs is included and more available via the honesty box.
The dining table will accommodate 8 people and a high chair is available if needed.
With the house sitting on the hillside, we find the views down Kylerhea draws our eye and so have provided a telescope to help watch everything that goes on.

The second bedroom has twin beds which can be 'zipped' into another superking bed. These beds have memory foam toppers.
The third bedrooms has comfortable twin beds.
All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes with shelves and hanging space. The beds are made up with crisp Egyptian white pure cotton linen and have generous duvets.
Blackout blinds are fitted in each bedroom - summer nights in Lochalsh can be very short.
This informally furnished room has a TV (FreeSat) and hosts the Broadband/WiFi router. It has a futon sofabed and padded chairs.
The kitchen is very well equipped with good quality equipment. While there is a great choice of restaurants within 15 minutes, we like to take full advantage of the wonderful local produce available so you'll find plenty of pans, casseroles, bowls, cake tins, seafood pliers, etc. - and a small selection of recipe books.
On the A87 just beyond the turn to the house is remarkably well stocked shop. Their opening hours are long so you can rely on them for the essentials. In Kyle of Lochalsh, there is a good butcher, an amazing deli and the Co-operative. Between them, you shouldn't need to do the big shop before you leave home.
The great outdoors is why we love this location but, as our favourite sport is kayaking, we think good drying facilities are an essential. The utility room has storage space and drying racks as well as housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and dehumdifier.
If more drying space is needed, there are drying racks at the rear of the garage, there are covered drying lines at the back of the house and a rotary drier to the front.
There is plenty of space for drying out wet humans and dogs and an outside hose pipe helps deal with mud.

Secure Storage and Garden
A garage is available to store outdoor equipment such a bicycles and kayaks and has drying racks at the back.
Outdoor tables and chairs are provided so you can enjoy this secluded spot. The garden can be fully enclosed.
There is plenty of space to park.
A blockwork outhouse contains as wooden kennel for dogs that prefer to sleep outdoors.
Dogs love this house. With walks direct from the garden onto a network of traffic and livestock free paths, you can all enjoy yourselves. If you shut the gates, the garden can be enclosed but, as you'd expect in this part of the world, it is agricultural-style fencing and gates not security fencing.
We provide a fixed child gate to the bedroom corridor as we don't allow dogs in the bedrooms (all that white linen!) and we ask that they are kept off the furniture.
There is an outdoor tap and hose pipe to wash down muddy dogs and humans.
